Saint Vitus is a world renown venue/event space located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Established in 2011, Saint Vitus has hosted some of the most prestigious bands in the world including Nirvana, The Descendants, Neurosis, Megadeth, Anthrax, Carcass, Refused, Babes in Toyland, Sick of it All and many more for one of a kind intimate shows. The bar has also served as ground zero for NYC’s heavy music community and has garnered praise from The New York Times, The Village Voice, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, Metalsucks, Gothamist, etc.

Designed and built by Matthew Maddy, known for his work at Weather-Ups (Brooklyn and Tribeca), No.7 and Anella. It’s obvious when you walk into Saint Vitus and see the big, beautiful black mahogany bar that this was tailor made by bartenders. Maddy was able to magically convert this old social club and plumbing school at the end of Manhattan Ave., into a sleek but industrial, speak easy style drinking establishment that perfectly fit the vision of the owners to establish a new generation of NYC rock club.

Aside from concerts, Saint Vitus has hosted a number of special events including private parties, art openings, film screenings, photo/video shoots, weddings, etc. for a variety of clients and would love to host your next event.
